FOUR MILE RUN COVID-19 STRATEGY
Every day, our lives are in a fluid state of change due to the Coronavirus (Covid-19) Pandemic. As a church body, we need to remember not to fear or panic because Jesus is greater than anything we face in our lives, including this virus.

The Bible reminds us in 2 Timothy 1:7 – “for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.”

As a church Body, we are prepared to love each other while not fearing. To this end, the Leaders at Four Mile Run have developed a strategy for you and your family to use during this time.
Each of the above links will help you and your family navigate this time while our church is not gathering together for worship and encouragement.

Our service will be online Sunday Mornings to give you and your family an experience where you can worship together by singing songs, learning from God’s Word, and participating in remembering Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection through the celebration of communion.

This is where we will bring updates and news as to the current plan of Four Mile Run regarding our weekly gatherings, future outlook, and forward thinking.

We all need to continue growing. Just because we’re not gathering together, does not mean that we should not be studying God’s Word. Through this link, you can find teaching from our Four Mile Run Community and access to RightNowMedia for further Bible Study.

This area will be designed to give you some great tips and ideas for how you can spend this time developing relationships and having fun together as a family while being away from our Four Mile Run Gatherings.Use these resources to grow closer as a family by worshiping Jesus through these activities and ideas.

OUR MISSION AND VISION

Four Mile Run Christian Church focuses on sharing the love of Jesus with the whole family. From Newborns to Seniors, everyone can experience the love and truth of Jesus through our simple vision and mission.

Our vision at Four Mile Run Christian Church can be found in our discipleship process that is constantly developing Christ followers through all stages of life. We exist to Connect people to Christ, to Community, to Serving and to Others.
FOR MY FAMILY

At Four Mile Run, we believe that ministering to the entire family is the most effective way to raise up our young people and adults to be strong and healthy Christians. We offer a broad spectrum of programming that caters to the entire family!

In one week, parents will normally spend more time with their children than ministers or church volunteers will spend with those children in an entire year. Because of this, we are putting our focus on getting discussions about God and faith to be happening primarily at home rather than only at church.

We encourage you to set aside time during your week to pray as a family, to talk about God, to go through scripture, and to discuss how these things matter to you. If that sounds a little uncomfortable and you aren’t sure where to start, don’t worry. We would love to help you get started! Just ask.

AGES – Everyone

We understand that it is impossible for us to do life alone. Jesus never meant for us to try and tackle it that way. We also understand that as a church grows larger, it has to grow smaller at the same time. That’s why in Fall 2019, we’re launching a brand new slate of Community groups. These smaller group settings will allow you to engage in conversation with others as you share life together. Whether it’s praying for each other, having a great time experiencing life together or deepening your walk with Christ through the power of accountability, there’s something in our groups for you!
Here you will find links to everything you might need. From Group Questions and resources to other links like our weekly newsletter and calendar.
